The Hidden Truth

My bro just finished his final year exams and so - to help him with his interviews - there are a lot of mock interviews going on at home - where Mom and Dad are the interview board.

So they were asking him basic HR questions like 'tell me about yourself' or 'what are your hobbies' and he asked 'who is your role model?'

To which my bro replied - 'my role model is my Dad.'

Dad suddenly felt a sensation of lightweight ness and about to touch the roof. Mom had an "just as  I expected - he does not love me enough" look and looked at the mango tree (thinking 'this season, the mangoes are smaller')

Dad detected this sudden change in Mom's behavior (He's an extremely smart guy and they are together from what - 28 years - so Dad knows her really well) - Hence he tried a disaster recovery by asking "Son why not Mom? why Dad?"

Bro replied "Dad, I could have said Abdul Kalam, and then he would ask me something about APJ that I don't know. Dad is a safe bet. Please don't make me change."

Mom shifted her gaze to Dad's face with a large smile - which made him ask - "What?" and Mom replied - "No, I need to see this."

P.S: This comes with a request not to portray my brother in a negative light from him. Its just the jokes. He loves his parents very much.

  1. A conversation between Dharma and manifestation of Dharma (Yudhishthira)
Dharma: What is heavier than earth, higher than heavens, faster than the wind and more numerous than straws?

Yudhishthira: One's mother is heavier than the earth; one's father is higher than the mountains. The mind is faster than wind and our worries are more numerous than straws.
